EMBRACING THE UNKNOWN

Using dense layers of electronics, Unknower creates dark, atmospheric songs that take influence from an array of genres, from hard rock and heavy metal to electronica, dirty south hip hop, and trap music. Ingredients are taken from each genre and blended into an all-electronic assault of gritty synthesizers and driving beats. The result is a unique sound that doesn’t quite fit into any one genre or category.

The name Unknower is inspired by Socretes, who once said “I know that I know nothing,” implying that along the path to find truth, we often come across things we once thought we knew that we must re-learn or un-learn. An Unknower is someone on the search for truth who isn’t afraid of questioning everything they know in the process.
